HVAC Helper / Apprentice
Greater Vancouver | $28–$32/hr DOE | Full-Time
Streamline Refrigeration is a small, owner-operated HVAC company looking for a motivated individual to start as a helper with a clear path to a registered apprenticeship. You’ll be working directly alongside the owner — a fully licensed, Red Seal Certified HVAC Mechanic — on every job.
This isn’t a large crew. It’s one-on-one, hands-on learning from day one.
HOW IT WORKS
• The position starts as a helper role — assisting on installs, service calls, and maintenance
• As you settle in, the role will transition to a registered apprenticeship through SkilledTradesBC
• You’ll be working directly with the owner on every job — no supervisors, no layers
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed HVAC/R Foundations course (required — include details when you reply)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Physically capable of trade demands — lifting, confined spaces, ladders, outdoor work
• Reliable, punctual, and coachable
WHAT WE OFFER
• $28–$32/hr depending on experience
• Full-time, stable work in the Greater Vancouver area
