1800s hewing broad axe, made by Warnock and Co., Galt, Ontario. Axe measures 8.5 inches deep, with 11 inch cutting edge and weighs
6 pound, 6.6 ounces. This axe was used to square the logs used in the house I spent my teenage years in. The house was built in 1889
and was struck by lightning and burned to the ground in 1967.
