Honda describes their EU2200i as ultra quiet, this is an opinion, depending on what you consider quiet. Yes, for the 2000- 2200 watt size SUITCASE style inverters it is quiet by comparison to other suitcase style inverters. If quiet is important then you must compromise the suitcase and size. When you come and see us we will gladly run up a Honda EU2200i at a 15amp load, and then run a 3000-3500 watt inverter at the same load and you will agree that the larger generators are 50% or more quiet, also offering running times of up to 20 hours at ¼ load. I really can’t imagine someone wanting to connect two 2000-2200 watt inverters together. At full load the noise can be compared to a working lawn mower (hope not beside me when I’m camping). We have sold both Honda and BE inverters and you’ll agree that this applies for both brands, If quiet is really important, then you have to look past the suitcase and find room for a 3000 watt +. We will also compare the 2 brands for you, side by side and let you decide what is quieter, and what sound you prefer. It’s not just volume, the tone, pings and knocks will also influence your opinion. In comparison the BE1200i sells at $679, BE2100i sells at $899, the BE3600ie with electric start @ $999..We have a few remaining Honda EU3000i light weight inverters on sale @ $2699. When you compare the brands you will find that BE offers the most features, the quietest running, and the ability to parallel connect all sizes. This along with a locally owned Abbotsford manufacturer, a global supporting dealer network, local warehousing of units and parts. All this for significantly less money, makes it our customers choice over Honda for the past 4 years @ a ratio of 4:1.The overwhelming consensus of all the customers we have demonstrated this to say that the BE3600ie is the quietest of all that is mentioned in this ad other than EGO. We sell EGO battery powered 3000watt inverters that are silent and without any exhaust gases for $849.
