Remanufactured automatic transmissions are not rebuilt - they are completely reengineered in a factory setting. Rebuilding is a good option in some instances, but only remanufacturing can provide the best possible longevity and operation. During our in-depth remanufacturing process, we replace all the soft materials, including clutches and clutch packs, seals and gaskets. We also resurface all the hard parts that show signs of wear, before fully cleaning the entire transmission and then stress testing it to guarantee operation. Each and every Ford Remanufactured transmission is packaged in a preformed plastic tote to prevent damage during shipping and protect the unit from contamination. All Replacement transmissions are sold exchange. The Core must be returned in the same shipping container that the product was delivered to you in so you can receive your refund deposit.
