Instead of giving your pup to a shelter please consider me instead!

I've been keeping an eye out for a new companion on all the different sites and shelters already but I thought I would make a post here in case someone with a dog needing a home sees this first :)

I am 28, self employed, and have many years experience with the German Shepherd breed. My old shepherd mix Jackson passed away a few years ago and life has felt a bit empty ever since. We had many adventures together in the 10 years I had him. I do rent, however I have permission from my landlord and my family owns their home in case I need to move in an emergency. In all the years I had my dog I never had any issues renting with pets. My fiance and I will own a own home in the next few years as well. I'm financially able to handle any future vet care as well as provide high quality food specific to her/her needs. The dog will sleep in their own bed right next to mine :) We have a yard.

I'll consider any age, male or female. Preference to those with a calmer energy. Must be good with other dogs and kids, including small pets such as guinea pigs. Please be honest about any behavioral issues such as excessive barking or separation anxiety. I know what I'm looking for and I have no problem waiting for the perfect match.

Not interested in spending more than what the shelter charges as I would much rather spoil my new best friend. Free would be amazing but I understand most people would feel better about charging a re-homing fee. Please let me know what that is, along with any other info in your email.

Thank you!
