Job description
We are a CARF accredited agency seeking a youth caregiver for our staffed group homes.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who want to connect with young people and help them reach their goals.

While on shift, meals and fuel are covered.
You will be overseeing basic life skills such as budgeting, cooking basic meals, personal hygiene, etc. You will transport to appointments and school.

It is required to have a good grasp on computer functions within Windows/PC such as emailing, including attaching files to an email before sending. We also use Microsoft Word on a daily basis.

We operate homes in various locations across the Fraser Valley. Staff must be available for all locations in the event of need, but we aim to keep you at one location.

Many of our youth have experienced trauma and the position may entail working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, those involved with drug use/street life, and other circumstances.

Our shift rotation is three-days-on (72 hours) followed by three-days-off (72 hours) and continues forward on this pattern. You have 15 days off per month.

Any crisis intervention training is a definite asset.
-Valid DL and personal vehicle with insurance in your own name
-Drivers abstract
-Criminal record search showing no offences involving youth or vulnerable groups
-First aid is required. If you do not have current first aid, you will need to take it within 3 months of hire.

This is a salaried position.
This position includes benefits with Blue Cross; necessary dental procedures are covered at 100%
Signing bonus upon completion of three month probation.
