As a respite caregiver, you will provide assistance to clients with physical, emotional, or cognitive limitations. You will be responsible for providing care and companionship to clients in their homes. You will also perform tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, engaging clients in activities, assisting with personal hygiene, and performing household duties.
To be successful as a respite caregiver, you should have relevant training and certification, as well as experience in a similar role. You should also be compassionate, patient, reliable, and flexible. You should be able to work irregular or established hours, including night shift, weekends, and holidays. Available shifts at the moment are Thursady, Friday, and Saturday days/nights. Transportation is provided.
