1981 Guild D25, made in the USA . It has a factory installed Barcus berry pickup with volume knob on the upper bout of the body. Prior to my owning it for the last four years it had spent a long time in a storage locker.
It is a great full sounding guitar! Very nice for chord work. The pickup is actually pretty good for its time, and with an acoustic pre-amp or EQ you can get some very nice tones. Holds tune very well with a comfortable neck shape.
This is in fair condition - checking in the finish, dings and scratches. Action is very comfortable on the lower frets but gets higher as you move up the neck due to belly bulge.
I am asking $700 as I'm aware that it could use some work to compensate for the bulge/action if so desired. However I do believe it is a player as is - it is by no means unplayable. I have used it frequently without any issues. I feel it is fairly priced considering the quality of the guitar however I will consider reasonable offers.
