Afternoon Shift Pointer – $22/Hour to Start
Location: Langley, BC

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a full-time Afternoon Shift Pointer to join our production team. This role involves preparing steel rod ends using pointing equipment, a critical step in our bolt manufacturing process. It’s a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
Wage:
$22/hour to start
$23/hour after successful completion of 3-month probation
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Initial 2-week Monday-Friday training on day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Operate pointer machines to taper the ends of steel rods
Load and unload raw material and finished parts
Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy
Maintain clean, safe, and efficient workstations
Follow production targets and safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements:
Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn machine operation
Physically fit – able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
Safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented
Must have reliable transportation – no public transit available to our location
