Harmer Steel is a leading distributor of rail and track materials in Canada and the US. We are looking for a Shop Helper for our new Maple Ridge location. The location is not transit accessible.
Description
• Training provided
• Perform a variety of processes in our Fabrication and Machine Shops
• Hours will be 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Overtime available at time and a half
• Compensation can increase to a tradesman wage over time, as a successful candidate acquires more skills and experience.
Experience
• Warehouse, Shipping or Shop experience is awesome but not essential
Compensation
• ~$20+/hr Depending on experience

We are looking for somebody that we can train to be skilled at all of the different processes that are performed in our shop including fabricating and machining. The right candidate will be reliable and eager to learn. We are looking for someone with long term potential. Experience is an asset but not essential - we are very willing to train the right individual.
