We are a well established residential and commercial Tree Service company Serving the Fraser Valley for over 50 years.
We are currently seeking to fill a full-time (35-40 hours per week) permanent Grounds person position, Mon-Fri. We work all year round in all weather conditions.
We are looking for self motivated individuals who can work as part of a team.
High School education and previous experience working in the Tree Care or Landscaping industry is preferred but not required.
Wages depending on experience
MUST have a Valid BC drivers’ license and provide a driver abstract
General Duties and Requirements:
Operate and maintain the chippers
Assist with Driving, Backing, Dumping and Parking duties
Raking and general clean up
Rigging/ Running rope
Running Chain Saws, Blowers, Hedge trimmers, Pole Saws etc.
Keeping up with regular maintenance
Fueling saws and vehicles
Equipment Inspection
Work zone safety
Responsible for carrying out other duties asked of you by your Foreman
Requisite Skills:
Experience with manual transmissions
Ability to lift heavy weight/ perform strenuous manual labor
Must be able to work Sat/Sun if necessary
Must be able to listen and interpret instructions well
Demonstrates High Safety standards at all times
Must be able to prioritize duties
