Responsibilities
Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, and monitoring animals throughout their stay
Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff
Breed knowledge a Must
Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing
Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
Offer excellent customer service by communicating effectively with management about our furry friends needs and care routines
Must be able to perform activities including heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary
Physically demanding position
Ability to Multitask
Experience
Prior kennel or animal care experience required; however company specific training will be provided
Knowledge of dog handling techniques and dog training principles is highly desirable
Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional appearance demeanor
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking, poop is a big part of our job
