What is it like to work with us:
Working in crews of 2.
Full-time employment. 40hrs a week from mid-April to mid-September.
Enjoy weekends and evenings off.
Compensation plan:
Earnings are based on the piece rate system (higher efficiency = greater pay). Base pay is equivalent to $21/hr but efficient painters earn between $21-$30/hr.
Performance bonuses available, significant additional bonuses are available for crew chiefs.
Your Responsibilities in this role:
Your daily responsibilities will include prepping and painting houses (exterior and interior, primarily residential). Prep work includes scraping, sanding, caulking, applying wood filler, and glazing.
Painting includes the use of paint brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers.
Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Maintaining work safe practices.
Cleaning and maintaining the equipment.
Managing budgets and completing projects within set deadlines.
Typical Jobsite hours are from 8:30am-5:00pm from Monday-Friday.
What’s required to work here:
You must be comfortable with heights (ladders range from 8-40 feet), there will be times when you will have to do work on roofs, fall protection is provided.
You must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
A vehicle is preferred, but not required.
This is an active job, you will be on your feet most of the time and need to be comfortable doing so.
