This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; the prevention and treatment of stage I-IV pressure injuries.
This low air loss dynamic system is ideal for at-risk users and step-down intensive care units. It features continuous lateral rotation therapy at 20 and 40 degrees, which gently turns the patient from side to side, shifting pressure points on the body and greatly lowering the risk of pressure injuries, infection, pneumonia and other pulmonary complications—illnesses that significantly add to patient care costs and increase the duration of hospitalization. The turning surface also aids caregivers with manual turning.
