I offer this disease resistant variety that was developed in Canada for cold climates. 'Sweet purple' variety is 20% sweeter than green asparagus varieties . It is also higher in anti-oxidants over the green coloured varieties.
It is a hardy selection that form many large spears in the spring. Sweet when eaten raw or steamed. Larger and more tender than most types. Likes a sunny location with well drained soil(sandy).

They are planted in pots ready for transplanting to your garden. Variety is called 'Sweet Purple'

1 year roots $8.00/ 4 inch pot ( you will eat in 2 years)
