A splendid ''Duchess'' dressing table in burr walnut from the mid-Victorian period. Well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The dressing mirror is supported by a pair of carved ''antlers'' and is fully adjustable, The superstructure has two banks of small drawers flanking a central jewellery box with a lift-up lid. The base section has a single central drawer to the freeze. It stands well on elegant scrolling cabriole legs which are embellished with carved detailing. This lovely dressing table is offered for
sale in excellent condition. It has a rich colour and patina and is ready to go straight into the home. Matching stool included.
