Great car for anyone who doesn’t care about looks and just needs a point A to B kind of car.
Basic info:
2009 Mazda3
270,000 kms
I’ve owned it for 3 years, always been great for me. Easy to drive, reliable, cheap on gas and cheap on repairs
Good:
Oil changes done on time
Tires are a year and a half old
Comes with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (it’s an aftermarket one from Amazon, does make some odd noises but turning on the air makes the noise stop)
Heat works great
Put about $5K of work into it over the past 3 years ($3500 when I bought it, and $1000 about a year and a half ago when one of the wheel rotors broke and it needed all new tires)
Bad:
AC only works if it’s cold outside
Lots of body damage, but all of it is from a past owner
Was smoked in by past owners, a few small burn holes in some of the cloth seating
Crack in the windshield
Front licence plate connector is held on by duct tape but works just fine.
