ROLE: This role ensures that our customers receive the highest quality service on time, every time, thereby strengthening customer relationships and expanding profitable business opportunities for Alliance Door Products and our customers.

HOURS: Full Time M-F, 40 Hours per Week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become a door product and millwork specialist within our team of customer service representatives
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work climate that supports our values and enables team members to develop professionally as we successfully meet customers' needs
  • Positively and professionally address customer needs, requests and concerns
  • Process customer orders, vendor purchase orders, customer calls, quotes, backorders and confirmations in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
  • Track order status and monitor, coordinate and process order delay communication to customers
  • Follow up and provide feedback for customer quotations
  • Pursue continuous improvement in knowledge, skills and abilities to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Extensive data entry (accuracy, attention to detail and efficient)

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organization skills and an ability to productively work on multiple tasks
  • Creative and solution-oriented problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with internal & external customers, even in tense or aggressive situations
  • Customer Service oriented/attention to accuracy, detail, quality and service
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general computer skills
  • Ability to efficiently learn and master product information, processes and procedures
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness (quality) and efficiency (productivity) in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of spread sheets for estimating, costing, and analysis (preferred, not required)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Two (2) or more years of successful customer service experience
  • Associates degree (2-year), college-level certificate program or above (preferred, not required)
  • High School Graduate

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Compensation based on experience 
  • Company Benefits Package (After 3 Calendar months)
  • MSP Allowance (After 3 Calendar months)
  • Profit share (After 1 Calendar year)
