This beautiful coloured coin is part of the Half Ounce Pure Silver 13 Coin Set Celebrating Canada's 150th Coin Series (2017). The coin presents a full colour view of the Blue Heron and was photographed by Claude Belanger at the water's edge in Hampton, New Brunswick The coin is 99.999% silver, is 34mm in diameter and weighs 15.87 grams which is a little more than 1/2 of a Troy ounce. Only 25,000 were minted by the Royal Canadian Mint.
