Load Rite advantages:
1-Aluminum I beam is lighter (twice as light as steel) and is best for saltwater use. Less corrosion, a lighter tow and less gas used while towing.
2-Torsion axles are much better than leaf springs. Torsion axles are preferred for boat trailers as they are less prone to rust damage compared to springs. The superior ride quality is very smooth and quiet with less bouncing and jostling. You can expect to get 10 years more service from a torsion axle compared to a spring axle. Regular leaf spring suspension lasts only 2 to 3 years due to exposure to saltwater and rubbing wear while transporting the boat.
