The bike has a medium-sized 20-inch aircraft aluminum lightweight frame with a long seat post to accommodate a taller rider. The bike's lightness makes it very easy to transport and gives it excellent handling. Aluminum will also never rust when exposed to rain.
The bike features Shimano EZ Fire 24-speed shifters. The bottom lever shifts the bike down a gear, and the top lever shifts the bike up a gear. The Shimano EZ Fire shifters provide instant and quiet shifts in each gear. The Shimano EZ Fire shifters are designed to prevent the rider from ever missing a shift. The bike has an extremely low 1st gear to conquer any mountain and a high 24th gear for effortless cruising on the flats.
The GT features a top-of-the-line Shimano ACERA derailleur that engages the chain precisely in each gear, preventing premature chain wear. The Shimano ACERA derailleur has no plastic parts and is made of high-quality Aluminum. A top-quality Shimano derailleur will keep its tune, and you will not need constant $79 tune-ups.
The bike features a super comfortable seat with a weatherproof covering, with a quick-release for easy adjustments.
The 26-inch wheels are lightweight aluminum with stainless steel spokes so they will never rust. This is important as if the wheel ever needs to be straightened, the spokes will need to be adjusted. Regular steel spokes will rust and usually break when making any adjustments. This will never happen with stainless steel spokes. Stainless steel spokes are also much stronger than regular steel spokes.
The all-terrain tires are suitable for extreme off-road as well as commuting on pavement.
The bike features Aluminum Linear pull V-brakes that provide superior stopping in wet or dry conditions.
The bike has top-quality RST shocks that provide excellent dampening. They prevent the bike from suddenly rebounding and perhaps throwing the rider off the bike if a curb, rock, pothole, or object is hit. The absorption or dampening of shocks also prevents wheels and forks from being damaged by absorbing the impact.
The bike has always been kept inside and rides, shifts, and brakes as new.
