The Diadora has a super light aircraft aluminum 16-inch frame, with a long set post to accommodate a taller rider. The light aluminum frame makes the bike very easy to pedal, and if you ever transport your bike, you will appreciate the lightness. An aluminum frame bike will also never rust when exposed to the rain.
The bike features Aluminum linear-pull V brakes that provide superior stopping in wet or dry conditions.
The bike uses all top quality Shimano components. The shifters are REVOSHIFT shifters. These are the safest shifters as the rider can shift gears without ever taking their fingers off the hand grips. The Shimano REVOSHIFT shifters also have a thicker gripping surface, making shifting gears very easy.
The rear derailleur is a quality Shimano Tourney unit. It engages the chain precisely, and the bike shifts instantly and quietly in each gear. A quality Shimano Tourney derailleur will keep its tune and the bike will not require constant $79 tune-ups.
The bike features light aluminum 26-inch wheels with all terrain tires suitable for off-road or pavement. The light aluminum wheels make the bike very easy to pedal.
The bike also features Top quality Zoom Shocks that have additional travel and provide a smooth ride off-road or on road. The Dampening of shocks prevents the bike from suddenly rebounding when an object or pothole is hit possibly throwing the rider. The dampening of shocks also prevents damage to the bike by absorbing any impact.
The bike has seldom been ridden and still looks, rides, shifts, and brakes as new. It has only been ridden on pavement. It is an ideal recreational fun bike or a daily commuter.
