I'm selling my place - but if you're currently renting - I'm looking at the math and you could own it for a very similar monthly payment, and have the security of owning your own place.

I've listed with a realtor and am seeing a lot of interest from first time home buyers - however most aren't able to qualify because of they haven't saved enough down payment.
If sufficient down payment is all that is stopping you, I was told by a real estate lawyer about an option where the seller (me) can be the one to provide the down payment on closing - basically built into the purchase price so it's win-win for both of us.
