A full time Accounting / Office Assistant is required for our Abbotsford based office to work in our Accounting and Dispatch Departments. We are a trucking company with head office in Abbotsford, BC. If you are a good listener and a quick learner with the ability to work independently then this position is for you.

Mani Duties Include (But are not limited to):

• Maintaining files and electronic records and databases
• Working directly with our Accountant – learning and assisting with all accounting related duties such as Invoicing, Receivables, Payables, and Monthly Driver Payroll etc.
• Working directly with our Dispatchers - learning and assisting with dispatch related work such as entering orders into the System etc.
• Maintaining driver, truck and trailer files and related records
• General office related duties as required

Qualifications:

• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Self motivated and highly organized
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new systems
• Reliable and Punctual
• Although training will be provided but preference will be given to those with trucking industry experience

Salary: Based on qualification and experience.
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
